Angie was born in Cleveland, Tennessee. She has advanced training as a Certified Urologic Nurse Practitioner. She attended Cleveland State Community College in Cleveland, Tennessee and graduated in 1996 with an Associate of Science Degree in Nursing. In 2002, she attended East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 2004. She went on to attend the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where she received her Master of Science Degree in Nursing in 2006. She is a board certified Registered Nurse, as well as a board certified family Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive privileges in Tennessee.
